As kids, most of us have probably heard the saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me". But is this really true? Words can hurt and hurtful words can have a lasting impact on others. Words are powerful and with them we can uplift, encourage and strengthen, or we can hurt, tear down and weaken.
