The Holy Day titled, Feast of Trumpets, makes clear that Trumpets were indeed blown on this day, on this Feast day, as an alert or an alarm to look back and remember what God has done, and look forward and remember and know what God promises he shall do, and to look around you and see what God IS doing! This day is a Feast, a gathering, an appointment because of the announcements to the world that takes place on this day.  This sermon takes a brief look at the word “Feast” and then the phrase “blowing of trumpet” as a starting place in understanding the meaning of this Feast day, and then examines additional meanings of the Feast of Trumpets.
