Besides the recent school shooting at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT, there was another such shooting that occurred on May 18, 1937 in Bath Township, MI where many more lives were lost. Though eighty five years apart, there is a common element linking these two tragedies? Why would anyone get it into his head to kill innocent children?
