The lesson from Joshua shows us that God will allow His people to go through really bad times and they will have to wait on Him. At times it will seem difficult and we would ask how long, O Lord? But through it all, God tells us to be of good courage, to wait on Him, that He has not forgotten us and He will come to us and will strengthen our hearts. Don't let hope fade in our lives, even when things get difficult and we don't always know why, remember God keeps His promises and He will deliver us.
